Mark Mitchell is back at Mizzou, CJ Gunn joins the Missouri Tigers, and The Coach’s Box breaks down what it all means for Missouri basketball and the upcoming Mizzou season.

After starting his college career at Duke, transferring to Missouri, transferring to Kentucky, decommitting from Kentucky, and ultimately re-enrolling at Mizzou, Mark Mitchell’s transfer saga has finally come full circle. The coaches break down Mitchell’s return, what he brings to Dennis Gates and the Tigers, and whether his addition can help Missouri compete in the SEC.

Mizzou also added former DePaul guard CJ Gunn late in the offseason. The guys discuss Gunn’s potential impact, Missouri’s roster, and what Mizzou basketball fans should expect from the Tigers this season.

The conversation then shifts to Missouri high school football following Week 1. The coaches break down the biggest performances, early-season storylines, surprises, and teams that caught their attention as the Missouri high school football season gets underway.

And, of course, there’s plenty of St. Louis sports talk. The coaches react to Stan Kroenke, owner of the Los Angeles Rams and Colorado Avalanche, adding another professional sports franchise to his portfolio with his purchase of the Los Angeles Angels.
