Spring Training is wrapping up. Matt Johnson and I catch up, since our Spring Training game got rained out!
I was encouraged heading into this season, but lackluster performances, injuries, and the lack of another strong starting pitcher signed has me feeling less confident than I was a few weeks ago.
We discuss where the Cardinals stand right now, and what needs to happen for them to have a somewhat successful season.
To this point The Cardinals have a chance to win the NL Central, if things goes well, but not much else. They have not been built for a deep October run. If everything does not go well, then we may be in store for another disappointing summer. Hoping for the prior!
