Should we spend the money now or save it for the future, should we spend time on what the HMRC call "non revenue earning activities" as this impedes economic growth. In addition to this, the person giving their time and expertise for free cannot pay their bills. Many organisations think that sending out emails is productive. It is not. Campaigning is not an economic activity, unless there is a tangible outcome.
