sorry for the short gap I was in the process of moving and couldn't find time to edit but I'll try and keep a more consistent posting schedule and stick to Fridays preferably around noon . this weeks topic is video game soundtracks and I was joined by spaceboikoma definitely go show him some love video games have some iconic music that people listen to even in their daily lives so I thought it would be good to give soundtracks some much needed love!

So this week's episode will be a bit different similarly to last week I had set up an interview with returning guest Josh Shakespeare this time discussing acting which had come during the course of our first conversation unfortunately the discord which is the app I use to record the audio for podcast episodes just did not want to work as intended and eventually we decided to just " do it live!" natural things fell completely off the tracks but I think it ended up making for a funny and more natural conversation and should be aired in its entirety so as to not lose its nuance Normally I have a small bit of recording time where I explain what the process of the recording will look like to my guest so there aren't any awkward silences but I edit that section out before airing.but since things pretty much immediately went sideways we decided to let you guys take a peek behind the curtain this week! If this isn't your cup of tea I totally get that and appreciate you nonetheless but I thought it would be entertaining to keep the whole unedited interaction in one piece . As a result there are some long silent moments in the beginning of the episode as we are trying to troubleshoot the issue. Hello and welcome back to Emerald expressions I truly apologize for taking another extended absence for the maybe 10,000th time (at this point I take as many hiatuses as Corykenxhin😭) but hopefully I'll be able to have a good and consistent run this Time. This week I'm joined by the hilarious and insightful Josh Shakespeare! For anyone who didn't know I'm from the relatively small state called Connecticut which is in between the larger New York and Massachusetts and kind of is a red headed stepchild. Most people don't either don't know much about it or assume it's a rich preppy place like Gilmore girls so I thought it would be fun to talk about how it is growing up here and the obstacles that are there for burgeoning content creators. Quick note I unfortunately had some microphone issues that affected the audio quality of a few episodes 8 recorded recently but I have since gotten a new mic so episodes recorded after should have much better audio quality I apologize for that.
