Ultimately, ADHD has an inherently negative, disempowering meaning in society. It's a synonym for 'broken', 'disordered', 'too much', 'troubled', 'unreliable' and yes, even 'lazy'. I suggest we stop telling people who have been diagnosed and are taking meds for ADHD that ADHD is a 'Superpower'... it's the pill. Not the ADHD. ADHD behavior is simply how a brain is currently wired. It can be rewired. The real Superpower is in doing the work to rewire our own brains!
