In this episode Professor Cara Bailey from the University of Birmingham talks to us about her research into end of life care in the Emergency Department. We learn how being an insider in the department helped her to understand what questions needed to be answered through research to improve the care of the patients, and the well being of the staff. Cara is talking about the beginning of her research journey, when she was not sure that someone like her was allowed to do research and how she feels just as passionate about her nursing work now as she has always done.
