David Carroll is a Professor of Media Design at Parsons School of Design and a passionate data rights advocate. 🚨
Prof. Carroll came into the public eye when he filed a legal claim against the now infamous data analysis company Cambridge Analytica in the UK High Court, as the company refused to provide him with his data. ⚖️
He happens to be the main subject of Netflix’s ‘The Great Hack’ - a documentary that looks in-depth into how our data rights were exploited to influence elections around the world 👨🏻💻
