As a fitness instructor Rick faced labels imposed on him from his physical appearance but he dug his heels in and didn’t let them take over. As a teacher Rick discussed the fundamental requirements of labels in order to actually help children but the reality that teachers are humans prone to judgement too, some of which are made within just 8 days and can last an educational lifetime and beyond.
