  • A Providential Plea Welcomed
    Nov 5 2026

In Esther 5, Esther courageously approaches the king, risking her life to plead for her people. Although the king welcomes her, the danger facing the Jews remains unresolved. Through Esther’s courage, her patient and wise approach, and Haman’s consuming pride, we discover that God’s providence is at work even when we cannot see it. This passage challenges us to trust God’s sovereign purposes by courageously doing what is right, patiently waiting for His timing, and examining the idols that compete for control of our hearts.

  • Can I Trust The Bible
    Oct 29 2026

In this last week of Student Takeover, we are tackling the question, “Can we trust the Bible?” This question matters because, as believers, we are building our lives on the foundation of Scripture, staking our lives and hope in Jesus, whose life and teachings are revealed in the Bible. If Scripture is our foundation, it’s natural to ask: Can we trust it?

We’ll explore two key reasons for our confidence in the Bible: first, God is trustworthy, and so is His Word; and second, historical evidence doesn’t disprove the Bible but confirms it. Ultimately, we can trust the Bible because God is its author, and He is trustworthy and faithful. His Word and the historical record reveal who He is, what He has done, and what He will do.
