Issue No. 07 — Gina Scott Williams and The Manassean Index

Something shifted. The room sounds different. The team is real. For the first time in six issues, Asa Thibodeaux is not scared.

Scriven — his former student, now named for the first time — built the studio, produced the music, and dragged the professor onto social media. Dick Woody called the new voicemail line from Scottsdale to confirm that a cocktail and a man are both real. And a travel colleague returned with four convergence profiles: Judith Newbury. Charles Gray. A fortune teller from New Orleans. A ghost in the Las Vegas machinery.

Two names. Two dead ends. One word — Manassean — buried in the filings of both.

Odell calls in live and reframes everything: "The corporation doesn't serve the corporation. The corporation serves somebody."

Runtime: ~45 minutes Host: Asa Thibodeaux The Pattern Files publishes when the pattern demands it.

  • The Pattern Files - ISSUE NO. 06: The Forgotten Firewall
    Mar 30 2026

A tech podcast published a forty-minute interview with Jeff Tanner, head of Prism. He described exactly how the machine works — the recommendation engine, the two tiers of speech, the whisper metric, the break penalty. He did this voluntarily. Nobody subpoenaed the information. I heard the interview and my brain started mapping his words against the suppression data before I'd finished cutting the lime. Four statements. Each one defensible on its own. Taken together, they describe something else. This is not the data episode. This is the one where the instrument questions itself. The companion article lays out the case file. This is the confession. dontthinkmeevil.com | @elwood.west

  • The Pattern Files - ISSUE NO. 04: The Edinburgh Protocols
    Mar 18 2026

A tunnel discovered beneath Edinburgh Castle in 2018 was documented by an archaeological team for eleven weeks before the press release was pulled, the team reassigned, and the access sealed with concrete. Tunnels beneath Edinburgh have been discovered and sealed at least five times in the historical record. The Delaware holding company identified in Issue No. 01 connects to an 1891 Edinburgh preservation society through 116 years of documented institutional continuity.

    Mar 11 2026

The root episode. Raw, unpolished, unguarded. Some of it has been confirmed. Some of it I still can't prove. That's the nature of the work.

Recovered recording. Not hosted by Asa Thibodeaux. Predates the investigation. The architecture of invitation: identify, isolate, flatter, test, bind.
