Amala Dlamini never really suited a life of rules and regulations, born into a creative household that encouraged her to express freely from a young age. So, perhaps it comes as no surprise that Amala adopted a stage name in honour of her two favourite things: weed and cats.
After hustling in the industry for years before her novelty song 'Mooo!' went viral, Doja Cat has now become one of the most successful female rappers of this century. But when people hear her name, there's often a long list of controversies that follow.
What is it that keeps her fanbase so strong after countless resurgences of the '#DojaIsOverParty' tweet? Well later on in this episode, I'm joined by fan, Doja Fantasy, to answer that exact question.
Additionally, I'll also be revealing the link between this episode and last episode's 'SZA'- who do you think will be the next artist and what will their connection be to Doja Cat?
