A gentle and quiet spirit isn’t weakness. It is strength under God’s control. It reflects trust in His sovereignty, not striving to be seen or heard. This kind of beauty doesn’t fade with age. It is lasting, Christlike, and precious in God’s sight (1 Peter 3:3–4). If you’re struggling to cultivate this spirit in your own life, you’re not alone. Ask the Lord to grow it in you. Spend time in His Word. Look to Christ. He is gentle and lowly in heart, and He is faithful to complete the work He begins in us.
