Two American overseas workers making themed dinners for their kids with local ingredients. Because just dinner was too easy. Each week, Amber and Tyler take you through a meal in their life as foreign workers living in Sri Lanka with their three children. They'll share stories about their week, struggles of finding ingredients or cooking tools to make non-Sri-Lankan recipes work, and reminisce about their love of Disney movies and parks. This podcast is a little bit nostalgia, a little bit life essay, a very little bit cooking show...it's a mess, just like they are. Come along and dig in to life overseas.

Just when you thought this podcast had died: New Year, New Us! I mean, nothing new here, actually, the format is still the same and Tyler is still full of puns. We return to your earbuds with a theme for January: Junk Food. Here we share the dubious nutritional choices we made while visiting the Tokyo Disney parks in December and our reviews of the food we ate.

Taking a break from the usual, join Amber for this summer series called "Shorts in the Summer" where she watches the Disney educational short film called "The Story of Menstruation." As a modern day comprehensive sex ed teacher, she'll share stories from her classroom and compare the curriculum from 1946 to what she teaches today.
