As promised, here is the very first episode of Did You Press Record?

We went a little off track, but we got through our plans and we're super excited to show you this! Today we talked about pretzels, a new Hazbin Hotel song, college, the sensor beep and more.

We did get slightly distracted, since this is the first time we had used the college's podcast room, but our focus should be improved in future episodes

Scone recipe:

350g self-raising flour

175ml milk

85g butter - cubed

Pinch baking powder

1tbsp vanilla powder

4 drops lemon juice

1 egg

Put the self raising flour and baking powder in a bowl

Add the butter and mix until breadcrumb-like texture

Make a well in the middle

Put the milk in the microwave until warm and add the lemon juice

Pour the lemon milk into the well and mix with a kitchen knife - it will seem very wet at first

Scatter some flour onto a countertop and tip the dough out

Flatten the dough to around 4cm thickness

Use a cookie cutter with a 5cm diameter and cut as many circles as you can

Place these onto a baking tray and brush over them with the egg

Bake for around 10 minutes until they are risen and golden on the top
