    Feb 27 2026

The “baby” in the sarcophagus is not confused, it is calibrating. With a cloak stolen from Rico’s style and a voice that speaks directly into their minds, Rocco Smooth lays out a cosmic origin story, then drops the kind of truth that makes the room go cold: a piece of Rico’s soul is inside of him, and his kind was never meant to play nice with the planes as they are. As Brom finally admits why Cosmo kept everything vague, the crew realizes they were not just sent here to survive, they were sent here because they brought the key. Now the escape route runs straight through a dying world’s “node,” a place tied to reunification, harmonization, and a plan so big it could rewrite reality. If they rest, the dark closes in. If they move, they might be the ones opening the door.

A sarcophagus hisses open and the room goes reverent, not because the fight is over, but because something smarter just arrived. Newly born, impossibly calm, and speaking straight into their minds, a six-armed “brother” steps out of the dark and starts rewriting the power dynamic with a snap of its fingers. While Tessa and Ryan try to turn fear into diplomacy, Rico does what Rico does and declares the thing family, which might be the most dangerous move of all. In a world where magic is dying and monsters only want to take, the party has one shot to turn this encounter into an ally, before the dark decides what the price is.

  • C1 E34: Part 2 | What Warmth They Crave | Den of Dice
    Feb 20 2026

Every second counts in a chamber built to drain the living. Tessa is pinned to a crystal that eats spell slots like candy, Rico gets ripped away only to be shoved back into the hunger, and the party barrels in just as the whole room starts waking up. Ryan’s blade does not just cut, it listens, and when a voice in his head offers a way through, the door finally drops. The rescue becomes a brawl, the “tiny victories” come at a cost, and Dug answers the chaos with more chaos. The party realizes they may have arrived just in time to save their friends, and just in time to meet what was buried here.
