Today I am joined by Community Ambassador for National Breast Cancer Foundation, Colette Chase. Colette was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of triple negative breast cancer.
Her story begins when on holiday the previous month, she felt a small lump, and her worst fears were confirmed on her return home. Being a mother of two girls, an avid runner, fit and healthy with a very clean lifestyle, the news was a massive shock. Six months of debilitating treatment commenced immediately. Chemotherapy, surgery, radiation.
As a Community Ambassador for NBCF, Colette hopes to share her story to create meaningful awareness about this condition. Colette’s whirlwind journey is a story of strength, resilience and hope.
