The Great Commission is not just a command for the church. It is a calling for every follower of Jesus.

In Matthew 28:18–20, Jesus commands His disciples to go and make disciples of all nations. But what does it actually mean to make disciples, and are we living in obedience to that calling?

Why does the resurrection of Jesus matter, and what does the empty tomb mean for our faith today?

In this episode of Deepen, Pastor Joby Martin, Pastor Jonathan Vinke, and Pastor Matt explore Matthew 28 and the historical, spiritual, and eternal significance of Jesus' resurrection.

What does it really mean to surrender your life to Jesus, and is following Him worth the cost?

As we continue through Matthew 27, Pastor Joby Martin, Pastor Ryan Britt and Pastor Jonathan Vinke unpack the trial and crucifixion of Jesus, examining the choices of Pilate, Peter and Judas. Each faced a defining moment, reminding us that knowing about Jesus is not the same as surrendering to Him.

Through Peter's denial and restoration, we see that failure does not have to be final. Through Pilate's fear of losing control, we are challenged to consider what we are willing to surrender to follow Christ. And through the cross, we are reminded that Jesus took our place so that we could experience true freedom and eternal life.

The question remains: What will you do with the One called Christ?

In Matthew 26, we see two very different responses to Jesus.
