Sparrows come home to roost.


From the small town of Keen's Cross, Indiana came a missing persons case that rocked the country. A housewife and mother of two, married to the beloved town pastor, vanished, leaving behind only a cache of disturbing journals. Police and FBI searched fruitlessly for months for any trace of Naomi Payne.


That was 20 years ago.


Sparrow Payne has returned to Keen's Cross after a long absence to inherit the family home. With their father dead and mother gone, all Sparrow has left is their baby sister, Evelyn. But the discoveries they make while attempting to reopen Naomi's cold case may threaten to rob them of even that.
