Darla (Combs) Sallee '94 is Madison County's 2024 Community Person of the Year, Executive Director of the Anderson Symphony Orchestra, owner of the iconic Toast restaurant and a lifelong proud Andersonian and Raven. Sallee talks about growing up in the Park Place neighborhood, being a part of the Church of God movement, going to AU, and now fulfilling her calling to connect this community she's always called home and family to bring people together through spaces and experiences that bring light and joy.
