Gerard Cardoso is a Data Scientist with a keen eye for value creation. He has both the academic credentials as well as business experience of executing data projects. He studied Mathematical Science at the University of Bath and a Master's in Business Analytics at University College London. Gerard, formerly worked as Business Analyst at Accenture and Portfolio Data Scientist at Founders Factory. Now he is the Senior Data Scientist at nPlan, a company that is building the world's first system to understand construction project planning. In this episode, Gerard shares his perspective of the strategic processes a company should deploy in order to create value from data. He addresses topics such as data collection, team management, agile data science and data quality.
