  • FIVE TERRIFYING 911 CALLS
    Mar 4 2026

*This episode contains audio clips from real 911 calls and brief mentions of sexual assault that may be disturbing. Listener discretion is strongly advised*

This week, as we mark the fifth anniversary of our very first episode, we examine five deeply distressing 911 calls — harrowing moments captured on tape, and in one case, a moment that led to rescue.

We begin with the haunting disappearance of Anthonette Cayedito, whose brief and heartbreaking call may have been her only chance of escape. Then, we examine the shocking emergency call connected to serial killer Shawn Grate, where a captive victim risked everything to whisper for help.

Next, we revisit the mysterious 911 call made by Shannan Gilbert, a case that would later expose the horrors tied to the Long Island Serial Killer investigation. We also analyze the frantic and cryptic call from Brandon Lawson, whose words sparked years of debate and chilling theories. Finally, we cover the harrowing abduction of Denise Lee, whose desperate pleas for help reveal how seconds can mean the difference between life and death.

These real emergency recordings provide a sobering look at crises unfolding in real time — and the difficult, lingering questions that remain in some of these cases.

If you have any information on the Anthonette Cayedito case, please call 1-505-889-1300 or visit Tips.FBI.gov.

  • THE UNSOLVED CHELSEA POORMAN CASE
    Feb 11 2026

In September 2020, 24-year-old Chelsea Poorman went missing from Vancouver, Canada. Last seen in the early morning hours on Granville Street, Chelsea disappeared without a trace. Her family reported her missing two days later, launching a search that would stretch on for nearly nineteen months.

In April 2022, contractors made a shocking discovery: Chelsea’s skeletal remains were found in the backyard of a long-vacant mansion in Vancouver’s Shaughnessy neighbourhood. Police later stated her death was “not suspicious,” suggesting she likely died shortly after her disappearance. But for Chelsea’s family and Indigenous advocates, that conclusion only deepened the mystery. How did Chelsea—who lived with cognitive and mobility challenges—end up behind a locked, abandoned property blocks away from where she was last seen? And how could she have remained undiscovered for so long?

In this episode, we walk through Chelsea Poorman’s disappearance, the controversial investigation that followed, and the unanswered questions that continue to haunt her case—while examining the broader systemic failures surrounding missing Indigenous women in Canada, and the ongoing fight for accountability and justice.

Anyone with information on this case is asked to contact the Vancouver Police Department at 604-717-3321.

  • SERIAL KILLER ISRAEL KEYES (PART 2)
    Jan 28 2026

In Part Two of our deep dive into Israel Keyes, we examine the abduction and murders of Bill and Lorraine Currier, using their case to better understand the mindset and methods of one of the most calculated serial killers in modern U.S. history. Their murders in Vermont would later become a key piece in unraveling how Keyes selected victims at random, planned his crimes well in advance, and moved undetected across the country.

Beyond the Currier case, this episode focuses on Israel Keyes himself—including some of his chilling confession tapes, and the disturbing control he continued to exert even in custody. We also discuss the questions left behind after Keyes’ ultimate fate and how this may have robbed families and investigators of the full truth about how many victims he really claimed.

  • SERIAL KILLER ISRAEL KEYES (PART 1)
    Jan 21 2026

In part one of a two-part deep dive, we discuss Israel Keyes—a methodical, calculating killer who traveled the US leaving little evidence of his crimes and believing he could remain invisible. For years, Keyes planned everything in advance, choosing victims at random and covering his tracks with chilling precision.

That illusion shattered in 2012 with the abduction and murder of 18-year-old Samantha Koenig in Anchorage, Alaska. Kidnapped while working alone at a coffee stand (which was all eerily captured on surveillance footage), Samantha became the case that exposed Keyes’ carefully hidden world.

For nearly seven years, Cindy James lived in a waking nightmare. Anonymous phone calls. Letters filled with threats. Break-ins that left no clear suspect. And attacks that seemed to escalate in both violence and cruelty. To friends, family, and police, Cindy appeared to be the target of a relentless and unseen stalker. But when Cindy went missing in 1989, the question shifted dramatically.

We trace the chilling timeline of Cindy’s reported harassment, examine the evidence police struggled to make sense of, and explore the theories that continue to divide investigators, experts, and the public decades later.
