  • Don’t Look in the Mirror — Investigating Riverdale Road
    Oct 11 2026

    Send us Fan Mail

Just north of Denver, there is a road that Colorado drivers have been afraid of for decades. Riverdale Road runs through Adams County — long, flat, and dark, lined with ancient cottonwood trees that block out the sky and turn the night into a tunnel. People have been reporting strange things on this road for as long as anyone can remember.

But one legend keeps coming back more than any other. A black Camaro with no headlights. It appears out of nowhere in your rearview mirror. It matches your speed no matter how fast you drive. When you finally reach the light at the end of the road and look back—it’s gone.

Tonight Kai and Dad Matt investigate why Riverdale Road has collected so many dark stories — including the real history of violence along the road, the ancient cottonwood tree folklore, and a theory called ley lines that connects Riverdale Road to some of the other mysterious places we have already investigated this season.

And then Kai tells the story of four teenagers who dared each other to drive the road one October night — and found out that what happens on Riverdale Road doesn’t always stay on Riverdale Road. Stay curious. Stay brave. And stay creepy, Colorado.

    Sep 24 2026

Colorado Bigfoot sightings have been reported for over a hundred years — and this week Kai and Dad Matt investigate the creature that has been moving through the Rocky Mountains long before anyone was looking for it. Colorado is one of the top five states in the entire country for Bigfoot encounters, with hundreds of documented reports from hikers, campers, hunters, and park rangers across every major mountain range in the state. • The Harlem of the West — Investigating Five Points
    Sep 7 2026

This week Kai and her dad Matt investigate one of the most important and most extraordinary neighborhoods in Denver history — and one that feels personal. Five Points was known as the Harlem of the West from the 1920s through the 1950s.

During a time in America when segregation kept Black artists and residents out of most Denver venues and hotels, Five Points was a place that belonged to the community. A place where people could live, create, and celebrate freely. And at the center of it all stood the Rossonian Hotel on Welton Street — a ballroom where Duke Ellington played, where Ella Fitzgerald sang, where Billie Holiday filled those second floor windows with light and music and life.

The Rossonian has been largely empty for years. But people walking past late at night have reported hearing jazz music drifting from the building for decades. Music with no source. A ballroom that hasn't gone quiet. Tonight Kai tells the story of Denise — a photographer who set up her camera across the street from the Rossonian one autumn night, heard something she couldn't explain, and discovered the next morning that her camera had seen something her own eyes had missed.

Plus the Creepy Colorado Fact of the Week takes us somewhere much bigger and much wilder than any building we've investigated so far. Some of Colorado's greatest mysteries don't haunt ballrooms. They roam the mountains. Stay curious. Stay brave. And stay creepy, Colorado.

  • He Said Goodnight — Investigating Riverside Cemetery
    Aug 23 2026

This week Kai and Dad Matt have a very special guest investigator joining the team for the first time — Papa Ne, Kai's grandfather, all the way from Texas. There's just one problem. Papa Ne doesn't believe in ghosts.

Not even a little. Tonight Kai takes three generations into the investigation of Riverside Cemetery — Denver's oldest cemetery, established in 1876 and the final resting place of some of the most fascinating and colorful figures in Colorado history. From frontier legends to Civil War veterans to pioneers who crossed the plains in covered wagons, the stories buried at Riverside are as extraordinary as the city they helped build.

And then there's Thomas. A groundskeeper who worked the night shift alone for eleven years and never once felt afraid — until the November evening he found fresh roses on a grave that hadn't had a single visitor in over a decade. And heard something in the darkness between the headstones that he couldn't explain.

Plus the Creepy Colorado Fact of the Week plants a seed for next week's investigation — and it involves jazz music drifting from an empty building on a Denver street late at night.

Stay curious. Stay brave. And stay creepy, Colorado.

  • The Legend on the Mountain — Investigating Buffalo Bill's Grave
    Aug 16 2026

This week Kai and her dad Matt head up into the Colorado foothills to investigate the grave of one of the most legendary figures in American history — and they brought a very special guest investigator along for the ride. Spooky is back. Buffalo Bill Cody lived one of the most extraordinary lives the American West ever produced. Riding the Pony Express alone at fourteen. Scouting for the US Army on the frontier. Creating the most famous traveling show on earth and performing for queens, presidents, and millions of people around the world. He was a showman to his core. And according to the visitors who come to pay their respects at his grave on Lookout Mountain — he never really stopped performing. Tonight Kai tells the story of Clara, a woman who visited the grave on a quiet October afternoon, noticed a gate swinging with no wind, and smelled something she couldn't explain — something old and wild and frontier. Plus, the Creepy Colorado Fact of the Week takes us to one of Colorado's most colorful cemeteries, where apparently the party never stopped. Stay curious. Stay brave. And stay creepy, Colorado.

  • The Rocks Remember — Investigating Red Rocks
    Aug 2 2026

This week Kai and Dad Matt drive 25 minutes west into the foothills to investigate one of the most extraordinary places in the entire country. Red Rocks Park and Amphitheater has been drawing people to its ancient red sandstone formations for centuries — but long before it was a world-famous concert venue, long before anyone carved seats into the earth between those massive walls of stone, the Ute and Arapaho peoples knew something about this place that most people are only just beginning to understand. That it is sacred. That it is alive. That the rocks remember everything. Tonight Kai tells the story of Marcus — a concert worker who stayed too late at Red Rocks one September night, heard something coming from inside the stone, and saw a light moving along the top of the formation that had no business being there. Plus the Creepy Colorado Fact of the Week will make you look at those red rocks in a whole new way. And stick around after the outro — we recorded something special for you while we were there. Stay curious. Stay brave. And stay creepy, Colorado.

  • The Unsinkable — Investigating the Molly Brown House
    Jul 26 2026

Today Kai and Dad Matt don't have to go far — they walk right down the street to investigate one of the most remarkable homes in Denver history. The Molly Brown House sits in Capitol Hill just a few blocks from home, and inside its walls lives the legacy of one of the most extraordinary women America has ever produced. Born with nothing in Missouri, Molly Brown moved to Colorado at eighteen, believed in a miner nobody else believed in, watched him strike gold, and became one of the most famous women in the country. She survived the Titanic. She fought for people who couldn't fight for themselves. And then she came home to this house on Pennsylvania Avenue — and some say she never left. Tonight Kai tells the story of Sarah, a museum curator who was locking up the Molly Brown House alone one October evening — and heard something upstairs that she could not explain. She never locked up alone again. Plus — did you know our neighborhood might be one of the most haunted in all of Colorado? Stay curious. Stay brave. And stay creepy, Colorado.

  • The Man, The Legend, The Stanley Hotel
    Jul 19 2026

Today Kai and Dad Matt head north to Estes Park — right at the edge of Rocky Mountain National Park — to investigate one of the most famous haunted buildings in the entire United States. The Stanley Hotel was built in 1909 by a man named F.O. Stanley, an inventor who came to Colorado sick and dying and was saved by the mountain air. He loved this place so much he built a grand hotel to share it with the world. But the Stanley is famous for more than its history. Guests report luggage unpacking itself in Room 217. Children laughing in empty hallways on the fourth floor. A figure in old-fashioned clothing standing at the top of the staircase — there for a moment, then gone. And a famous writer named Stephen King once had a nightmare here that became one of the scariest books ever written. Plus — Bigfoot is closer than you think. Stay curious. Stay brave. And stay creepy, Colorado.
