  • The Derek Chauvin Trial: The Knee, the Video, and Nine Minutes Twenty-Nine Seconds

  • The Robert Durst Trial: Wealth, Three Murders, and a Confession on Camera
    Aug 5 2026
Robert Durst was a real estate heir suspected of killing three people over three decades. His best friend Susan Berman was found shot in the back of the head. His neighbor Morris Black was dismembered. And on camera, Durst whispered: "Killed them all, of course." This is the story of wealth, murder, and the most famous confession in criminal history.

37:00 - You Be the Jury

Robert Durst was born into one of New York's wealthiest real estate dynasties. His grandfather founded the Durst Organization, which owns some of Manhattan's most valuable properties. But behind the wealth lay a deeply troubled family. When Robert was seven, his mother jumped to her death from the roof of their Scarsdale home. Robert claimed his father made him watch.

In 1982, Robert's wife Kathie vanished after telling friends she was leaving him. Her body was never found. Robert's best friend Susan Berman helped him craft his alibi. But in 2000, Susan was found shot in the back of the head. The day before her body was discovered, someone mailed a note to the police that simply said "Dead" - with her address typed below. The handwriting matched Robert Durst.

In 2001, Durst shot and dismembered his neighbor Morris Black in Galveston, Texas. He admitted to the dismemberment but claimed the shooting was self-defense. A Texas jury acquitted him of murder.

In 2015, HBO aired The Jinx, a documentary in which Durst confessed on a hot mic: "Killed them all, of course." He was arrested the next day. In 2021, he was convicted of Susan Berman's murder and sentenced to life without parole. He died in 2022, and his conviction was vacated.

  • The Aaron Hernandez Trial: Football, Murder, and a Tight End's Double Life
    Aug 4 2026
The former NFL tight end stood trial for the murder of Odin Lloyd, a man who may have known too much about a double homicide in Boston. What the jury heard inside that Fall River courtroom paints a picture of a young man living two lives -- one under the stadium lights, the other in the shadows.

This is the story of Commonwealth versus Aaron Hernandez. Surveillance footage from inside Hernandez's own home shows him holding a gun. Cell phone records trace his movements through the night. And the testimony of two men who were in the car that night -- one who changed his story three times, the other who refused to identify the shooter -- left the jury with more questions than answers. The murder weapon was never found. But the evidence told a story the jury could not ignore.

    CHAPTERS:
    0:00 - Introduction
3:11 - The Charges and the Players
    7:10 - Opening Statements
11:56 - Carlos Ortiz and Ernest Wallace: The Men in the Car
20:42 - Forensic Evidence: Shell Casings, Gunshot Residue, and the Missing Weapon
27:04 - The Boston Double Murder: A Pattern of Violence
32:39 - Closing Arguments and the Verdict
35:50 - You Be the Jury: The Evidence and the Doubt
38:13 - Aftermath, CTE, and the End of Aaron Hernandez

Aaron Hernandez was convicted of first-degree murder and sentenced to life without parole. He died in prison at age twenty-seven. Five days later, a second jury acquitted him of a separate double murder. Two juries, two verdicts, one man. What would your verdict be?
