How we get from where we are to a human economy. What that means - an economy that recognizes all life as sacred and is built on a human scale where the way humans are supported and given room to thrive and create within a living system is the highest order.

Beyond the law of reciprocity to the economy of the sacred and the recognition of the sovereign human.

The inner work that it takes for us to get there - not by looking out there to 'fix it' but by going within to find our way to it - to find our own connection to that divine and sacred highest and best version of ourselves.

That is our journey together.

Stepping off the hamster wheel of needing to 'produce' and into the space of love that is calling us forward. Forward into a future of expanding joy - living from the inside out. No longer looking to the broken systems of the outer world; but rather, listening inward, to what calls us home to ourselves and each other. Our organic future is calling.

Exploring a whole new perspective to how gratitude operates - in the physical, emotional and energetic bodies.

How the act of surrendering into the receiving of what is wanted, whether actual or merely imagined, can shift us. Can actually transform our experience and change the outcome we are experiencing. And what can happen when we align to that outcome which serves everyone.

This shift we are in is calling us to a new level of trust and surrender to the gifts that are given to us and through us by life itself.

This has been a week full of my experience of what that looks and feels like as we move through it.

It is powerfully transformative and gratifying in ways that are difficult to capture with words.

This is my attempt.

In this episode I am exploring what feels like a new shift in the energies of awareness around how we 'be' in our world.

Lately, many of my favorite people have been experiencing a new level of flow and ease with a lot of areas of life, and we've been talking about how that works and what it means...

One thing that is clear is that we are being asked to wake up and pay attention to how we are focusing our attention in the moment.

In a culture seemingly devoted to struggle, fear and conflict, it can seem normal to spend our energy pushing up against the minor (and major) irritations and frustrations of our day to day experience.

But is it?

And what happens when we break the habit of seeing what is not working and instead trade it in for a new habit of asking for what we really want?

Little things, like help opening a tight lid right here and now... Or big things like a breath of fresh air and new sense of connection in an important relationship.

Many of us are discovering that when we speak out loud to the energy of life, guides or whatever version of helpers we call our own, and sincerely ask for what is wanted in the moment, magic happens.

It's not a new method of testing yourself or testing your helpers. No, and it doesn't work to use it that way, either.

But when we ask, within larger framework of seeking what is best for all concerned, for some assistance, large or small, to aid us in the moment, miracles can happen.

Perhaps this is new step in our unfolding into our larger sovereign selves. Perhaps it is simply the next level of awareness within each of us. Whatever it is, it is something more and more of us are noticing, and beginning to pay attention to - because it works.

It shifts us out of victim, out of frustration, out of irritation, out of suffering, and into direct experiencing of what is possible when we put our attention on where we want to go.

As the weather gets warmer I find myself moving outside to sit in the shade with the bees and the birds and contemplate this idea of seeking our inner divinity.

The path of reaching for that which is wanted and hoped for in the world with the understanding that through this reaching we call it forth.

Exploring my expanding appreciation for this body that carries me up and down the hills and across the fields of our little farm.

Thinking about its intelligence: living, steady, knowing, always there, below the surface, regardless of the mental constructs laid over it.

And the relationship between intuition, energy healing, body intelligence and a new understanding of what it means to thrive in the physical.

This week's episode goes on a journey of emerging awareness of non-ordinary reality experiences. The realization that these events are not simple 'one off' happenings, but an arc that stretches across my entire lifetime.

Along the way I discover Martin Brofman and his Mirror System of Healing, The Modern Fairy Sightings Podcast and a whole host of characters and events which transport me directly to one of the most profound encounters of my life.

Another of these not-singular-events which instantly re-ignites my entire being in the remembrance and re-experiencing of it.

And also reminds me, in such a deep and powerful way that words fall away in attempts to capture it, just how precious, safe, protected and completely loved by the universe each of us is.

In this podcast I talk about bee swarm season on our little bee sanctuary and nursery. Our Warré hives, developed by Frenchman Émile Warré to allow bees to build comb naturally and as they see fit are sometimes referred to by conventional beekeepers as 'swarmy hives' because bees do tend to follow their natural pattern of swarming each spring if the hives are left to themselves.

There is an art and beauty to bees that we cannot really touch. We can sometimes perceive it, but it is beyond us, as we cannot quite imagine the unity consciousness they experience. Swarm season allows us to participate a little more directly in that experience...

The second topic today is seed snails. Practiced, perfected and tested by Farida Sober, this method of seed propagation may be ancient, no one really knows for sure. Wherever it comes from, it is fantastic at producing strong healthy seedlings, reducing work, inputs, time and effort and keeping things simple.

Best of all, it works far more reliably than seed trays, endless transplanting up and watering and caring for all those trays of pots.

If you don't know what they are, you definitely want to learn about them if you grow any seeds at all for your gardens. It is my sincere hope I can get Farida to have a conversation with me about them one day. This is my second year of using them, and I absolutely love them!

You can find Farida's guidebook on how to make and use them here. I was so happy to find it this year after not being able to locate it last year - and I'm very happy to have it. Great little guide full of useful information.

Searching online will get you hundreds of sites and people talking about it, but her guide is not easy to locate in all that noise.
