Every time the forecast even whispers the word “snow” down here, the grocery store turns into a zombie movie with shopping carts. Milk vanishes. Bread disappears. People act like they’re about to be trapped in the Andes for six months… when the reality is usually a couple days of icy roads and everyone staying home.

Have you ever looked at the chaos unfolding in our world and wondered if we're living in times as dark as those that prompted God's judgment in Genesis? In this first installment of a multi-part series, Todd examines Noah the Prepper—the man Scripture identifies as finding favor with God when the rest of humanity had descended into complete moral corruption. For the Christian prepper, understanding what Noah faced and how he responded provides a biblical framework for navigating our own unprecedented times with wisdom, faith, and practical readiness.

This episode explores the sobering reality that mankind, left unchecked, inevitably trends toward evil—a pattern repeated throughout biblical history and evidenced in our modern world. Todd unpacks why believers who prep must develop keen situational awareness, not just of physical threats in parking lots and public spaces, but of the spiritual and cultural currents shaping our society. Drawing from 1 Chronicles and Christ's own teachings about discerning the times, this discussion challenges the dangerous tendency of faith communities to withdraw from cultural engagement while the world deteriorates around them.

For any Christian prepper serious about protecting their family and living faithfully in turbulent times, the lessons drawn from Noah's story aren't optional—they're foundational. This episode equips you to recognize the signs of societal decay, maintain the spiritual disciplines that keep your own heart in check, and cultivate the kind of awareness that separates those who are truly prepared from those merely going through the motions.
