In the event of an emergency or large-scale disaster, seniors and people with disabilities can become among the most vulnerable – if they're not prepared.

This special Melanie Minute was recorded live as part of a workshop and presentation to nearly 70 seniors on Tuesday June 23, 2026.

The event was hosted by Member of Provincial Parliament David Smith for Scarborough Centre, and was held at Branch Number 617 of the Royal Canadian Legion on Warden Avenue in Scarborough.
