Welcome to the Daily Recipes podcast. Today we're going to be making a classic Italian dish, Creamy Chicken Alfredo. This recipe is easy to follow and will leave you with a satisfying meal in no time. So, let's get started!

Ingredients:

  • 500g fettuccine pasta (1lb)
  • 2 tablespoons butter (28g)
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 500g boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces (1lb)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 cups heavy cream (480ml)
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese (100g)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large pan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  3. Add the chicken to the pan and season with salt and pepper. Cook for about 5-7 minutes until browned and cooked through.
  4. Reduce the heat to low and add the heavy cream to the pan. Stir well and bring to a simmer.
  5. Gradually stir in the Parmesan cheese until the sauce is smooth and creamy.
  6. Add the cooked pasta to the sauce and toss to coat.
  7. Serve immediately, garnished with chopped parsley if desired.
