À propos de ce contenu audio
Ep.29. Emma Kisby talks to Lynne Shipton who is the founder of the charity Chemo Gift Bags. Their mission is to offer 'a hug in a bag' for patients undergoing chemotherapy for breast cancer. After going through her own breast cancer journey, she wanted to provide people with gift bags to help them with the struggles of chemo treatment - based in the Thames Valley.
The products in the bags are donated by small businesses and are handpicked by the team, to ensure ingredients are safe and high quality. Things like natural deodorant, toothpaste, lip balms, cushions, blankets, notebooks - contents are researched to be useful and emotionally helpful.
