Later, playwright–performer Merlynn Tong joins to share her process behind Congratulations, Get Rich - including why, in Mandarin slang, “38” means “bitch,” and how that bold idea shaped her latest work.
A co-production between Sydney Theatre Company, Singapore Repertory Theatre, and La Boite, the show premieres in Brisbane this September before touring internationally through October.
