  • Being In Love With the Right Person Can Save You
    Oct 18 2026

You can believe the hype that dating as many people as possible is the way to go. I would rather choose one person at a time and see what we can build together.

In this episode, I share my experience of moving back to Jamaica and already finding a love interest. Some will assume he must want something from me, that I’m just getting my groove back, or that it’s too soon to focus on one person. Unlike what they perceive, I have my own views about what I want next.

I want to design this stage of my life without trauma being the focal point. I want a relationship where we build joy, compassion, cooperation, and abundance while growing in understanding and giving each other grace.

Nobody knows what tomorrow holds. However, choosing a healthy, committed, compatible relationship can spare you trauma that takes a lifetime to heal from.

  • How Are You Going to Level Up Without the Challenges?
    Oct 8 2026

Every choice brings something new to face. When a decision does not work out as you hoped, it does not automatically mean you made the wrong choice. Challenges will show up on any path.

In this episode, Marsha Kerr Talley explores what it means to stop chasing what is not chasing you, choose people whose presence does not feel like punishment, and question the “what ifs” that keep you doubting yourself. She also addresses the pressure to keep accepting situations that push you back into trauma.

How do you face the challenges that come with growth while recognising when something is hurting you? This conversation invites you to release self-blame and reconsider what—and who—you carry into your next chapter.

  • Returning to Jamaica — Episode 2: Settling In, Starting Again & Choosing Joy
    Sep 19 2026

Two months into returning home to Jamaica, things are beginning to settle, but settling in doesn’t mean having everything figured out.

In Episode 2, I share some wins (including passing my Jamaican driving test!), the realities of getting established on the island, navigating work and business, and what I’m discovering about the need for Special Education support in Jamaica.

I also talk about something more personal: dating again, building relationships intentionally, paying attention to the stories we create in our own minds, and recognising where there is still room to grow.

This week wasn’t about another dramatic relocation story. It was about building a life—earning, connecting, contributing, questioning my decisions, finding possibilities and choosing joy even when I cannot see the entire path ahead.

I don’t have the whole staircase. I can see the next step. So I’m building as I go.

Returning to Jamaica is my real-time experience of coming home after leaving Jamaica at 14, and discovering what returning actually looks and feels like.

  • This Week Was a Doozie! | Returning to Jamaica 🇯🇲 Ep. 1
    Sep 12 2026

I moved back to Jamaica after 30 years away, and two months in, I am still learning what it means to actually live here as an adult.

This week? Honey. 😂 It was a doozie.

From finally getting my car, navigating Jamaican roads, tolls, insurance and licence plates, to job decisions, missing belongings, unexpected kindness, a beautiful date day and learning to slow down after years of living at a US/UK pace—there has been a LOT.

But somewhere in all the frustration, I realised something: trouble isn't following me. Quite the opposite. I am incredibly blessed.

Returning to Jamaica is my Saturday series chronicling what it is really like to return to the place where my life began, without pretending that every moment is perfect or that every challenge is a disaster.

The ups. The downs. The lessons. The joy. The things nobody tells you. And, yes, sometimes the tea. ☕🇯🇲

    New episodes on Saturdays.

  • Stop Recycling the Same Relationship Patterns
    Feb 24 2026

Previously recorded. Still relevant for today.

In this episode, Marsha Kerr Talley explores the power of paying attention to patterns in relationships — romantic, platonic, and professional. One behaviour does not define a person, but repeated patterns reveal character.

This conversation invites you to assess not only the people entering your life, but your own emotional responses. Are you observing facts, or projecting past experiences? Are you dismissing healthy behaviour as “bare minimum” because you are unfamiliar with consistency?

This episode covers emotional intelligence, self-regulation, anxiety spirals, trauma responses, and how to differentiate between valid feelings and imagined narratives.

If you have ever recycled the same relationship dynamics, struggled with insecurity in new seasons, or felt your energy shift entirely toward someone new, this episode will help you reclaim your power.

You will also hear about Marsha’s coaching approach and how her trauma-informed framework, Turning Pain Into Possibility™, helps individuals move from emotional reactivity to clarity, healing, and strategic action.

Because time does not just reveal others.

    It reveals you.

    In This Episode:

    • Why one behaviour is not enough data
    • The difference between performance and pattern
    • Why “bare minimum” may actually be emotional consistency
    • How past trauma can distort present perception
    • Emotional intelligence in new relationships
    • Recognising anxiety spirals and imagined narratives
    • Why your thoughts are not always facts
    • The importance of self-regulation
    • How energy shifts toward new people can cause self-abandonment
    • Regaining your power in new seasons
    • Valid feelings vs. objective reality
    • Why all of us need tools, not just awareness
    • Coaching support and structured emotional clarity

  • Watch What You Say. Your Thoughts Are Speaking.
    Aug 19 2025

Your thoughts are impacting more than you know, so it is important to monitor your thinking. Watch what you think because they affect your beliefs, what you say and do every day. Your thoughts directly impact the habits that create suffering or joy in your life. While you cannot control everything, what lives rent-free in your head is your responsibility, and some stinking thinking needs to be evicted! Watch your thinking.

  • Your Belief Changes Everything
    Jun 16 2025

You are going through the motions of doing things, putting in the work, and being present, but where is your belief? I have been dealing with unbelief for years, wondering if anything I do will pay off. I have even questioned if I deserve the joy and success I seek.
