    • The Unfiltered Truth About Being Your Own Boss
      Oct 10 2025

      Let’s have an honest chat.

Yes, being your own boss can be amazing - the freedom, the flexibility, the chance to build something that’s completely yours. But there’s a whole side of business ownership that doesn’t get talked about nearly enough.

In this episode, I’m sharing what it really looks like behind the scenes of running your own business. From the isolation of working solo, to the pressure of making every decision and managing all the moving parts - it’s not always easy. Financial instability, unpredictable income, and the constant self-leadership it takes to keep going... It’s a lot.

But it’s not all doom and gloom. With self-awareness, resilience, and a strong support network, it is possible to build something that not only works but feels good too.

Let’s make business make sense together.

If you’re ready to stop winging it and start making smarter business decisions, come and join me inside The B2B Club – my free Facebook group packed with practical tasks, monthly Q&As, and live trainings to help you get seen (and paid) by corporate clients.

    • The Power of Visibility, Value, and a No-Nonsense PR Mindset - A Conversation with Sarah Stephens
      Oct 3 2025

I sat down with the brilliant Sarah Stephens, PR expert, strategist, and founder of the Be Seen Method, to talk about what visibility really means in today’s business world.

With over 25 years in PR, Sarah brings a wealth of experience that blends the best of traditional media, modern marketing, and a strong commercial lens. Her career has spanned everything from high-level agency work to partnerships with major airlines, and a bold pivot into luxury travel during COVID-19 that proved just how agile and creative she really is.

Now, she’s returned to the corporate space with fresh eyes, supporting internal marketing teams and teaching personal branding at the leadership level. We talk about how her work is helping directors stop hiding behind logos and start showing up as the face of their organisations.

Sarah doesn’t hold back when it comes to calling out outdated corporate behaviour either. From ghosting to decision-by-committee paralysis, she shines a light on what really gets in the way of progress, and why better, more human communication is the thing that will actually move the needle.

We also dig into the role of AI in content creation, and her view is one I absolutely share: AI can support the work, but it cannot replace real-life experience, strategic thinking, or genuine care. And relying on it too heavily? That’s where the cracks start to show.

    • What Can Corporates Do Better?
      Sep 26 2025

This episode is for the corporates.

I work with a lot of brilliant small businesses - smart, strategic, creative suppliers who are more than capable of delivering high-value work. And honestly? Some of the biggest challenges they face come from how corporates manage those supplier relationships.

So today, I’m calling it out. Not with blame, but with the intention of building better bridges between the two.

In this episode, I’m sharing a few key areas where corporates can improve how they work with small businesses, including:

      • Understanding the actual buying cycle and how it impacts timelines and trust
      • Communicating clearly and consistently throughout projects
      • Setting realistic expectations - and not shifting the goalposts halfway through
      • Being transparent about internal processes (especially when decisions are slow or layered)

I’m also introducing the simple but powerful stop, start, continue framework as a tool for internal development - something every corporate team should be using to improve their supplier experience.

Because when corporates and small businesses work together with mutual respect and clarity, the results are game-changing.

Let’s raise the standard on both sides of the table.

If you’re ready to stop winging it and start making smarter business decisions, come and join me inside The B2B Club – my free Facebook group packed with practical tasks, monthly Q&As, and live trainings to help you get seen (and paid) by corporate clients.
