Welcome to Caffeine & Controversy — where an 80s baby/millennial married couple gathers in “the basement” (yes, wood paneling included) to overshare, overthink, and over-caffeinate their way through trauma from our mamas, life choices we’re still unpacking, and pop culture chaos.

Raised on dial-up, reality TV, and emotional damage, this is just the continuation of the tradition.

Messy, caffeinated, unfiltered. New episodes every Monday.

  • Wicker, Mike Tyson & a Two-Month ADHD Detour
    Oct 27 2026

We're back! Apparently, when two ADHD millennials fall out of a routine, two months disappear. Between birthdays, graduation, traveling, work, and rearranging the house, Cara and Levi finally return to Caffeine & Controversy just in time for their first wedding anniversary.

This week, we dive into Wicker, the unconventional romance movie that promised wooden dicks and internet-worthy chaos but somehow turned into a surprisingly meaningful conversation about love, body image, marriage, and finding someone who appreciates all your imperfections.

Then it's down the Mike Tyson documentary rabbit hole. From his childhood and rise to boxing fame to the people who shaped his career, Cara discovers there's a whole lot more to Iron Mike than a face tattoo and biting someone's ear. Levi brings the boxing history, Cara brings the questions, and somehow we end up debating childhood trauma, mental health, fame, and whether money and success mean anything without the right people in your corner.

It's love, questionable movie choices, 90s nostalgia, boxing legends, and two married millennials who apparently need a calendar reminder to record their own podcast.

  • Dalton Ain't Worried but Lindsay Clancy is
    Aug 24 2026

What happens when relationship drama leaves the group chat and ends up all over the internet—or in a courtroom?

This week on Caffeine & Controversy, Cara and Levi dive into the very public relationship drama surrounding Dalton Ain’t Worried and Saco, including social media breakups, hearing only one side of a relationship, internet speculation, and whether major personal transformations can completely change a marriage. They also get into why loving your partner isn't always enough—you still have to actually like them. Then Cara takes Levi down the rabbit hole that has completely consumed her free time: the Lindsay Clancy trial. They discuss postpartum mental health, Patrick Clancy's testimony, questions surrounding the timeline and physical evidence, the prosecution's courtroom strategy, conflicting testimony, and why the case has sparked so much debate online. From Dalton Ain’t Worried and Saco to Lindsay Clancy, it's relationship drama, true crime, courtroom controversy, social media speculation, and plenty of opinions from two married millennials who probably should not be allowed to serve on the court of public opinion.

  • Friendships Were Easier Before Group Chats
    Aug 3 2026

This week, Cara and Levi dive into the friendships, relationships, and hypothetical dilemmas that somehow spiral into ranking your friends, punching your spouse for a billion dollars, and debating whether a four-inch dick is worth generational wealth.

The conversation starts with why making plans sounds better than actually leaving the house, then turns into a surprisingly deep discussion about setting boundaries, toxic friendships, and why healthy relationships often expose unhealthy ones. Levi explains his infamous "friend ranking system" (yes, complete with MySpace Top 8 logic), while Cara reflects on how years of always showing up for other people left her realizing not everyone was willing to do the same.

Naturally, things go completely off the rails when the couple debates what they'd be willing to sacrifice for a billion dollars, leading to one of the most ridiculous—and surprisingly philosophical—arguments yet.

As always, expect sarcastic millennial commentary, questionable life advice, and enough controversial opinions to keep the comments section busy.
