À propos de ce contenu audio

I've worked in radio in the past and always have had an interest in broadcasting. The new era of podcasting excites me , as I come to realize the benefits of the new medium.

I do this totally on a voluntary basis and as a hobby.

I focus on mostly local events from historical, sports along with the odd solo pieces from myself ..I like to cover happenings and events that don't attract mainstream media interest.

I meet with Sean Galligan, who is involved in the ongoing efforts to have a memorial erected in Cavan town to honor and remember the victims of the Orphanage fire that occoured in 1943.

At the start we have a chat about a local pirate radio station,Breffini Radio, where we both worked as DJs in the mid 80s.
