Today’s guest is Brian Dublin, a LGBTQ+ Filipino-American Singer/Songwriter from the Bay Area. By day he works as a freelance graphic designer, photographer and digital marketer, and by night he pursues his dream of being a singer and recording artist. Not only that, he manages his own LGTBQ apparel brand, that strives to represent asian, LGBTQ, and intersecting communities. Today’s conversation was heavily focused on Asian and LGBTQ identity and what it's like to create from that lens. We talk about telling your story as a creator, and how important identity is in creating authentic and meaningful work. We also discuss talk labels, how not be limited by them, and so much more!
