Crime 101 is here and I did my best to avoid the 1 to 1 comparison to Heat, but you can't deny aspects are very similar, but I recognize where this film tries to do different succeeds at some things, but doesn't execute others.

Who would've thought the first franchise I would Box up in its entirety would be The Strangers? I sure didn't, but here we are with the final Renny Harlin installment that was completely dumped at the beginning of this year. The good news is I never have to talk about this trilogy ever again.

Title may be a bit confusing but, Shelter isn't very interesting to talk about. Action franchise film making has now been normalized with things like the Fast and Furious franchise and the John Wick machine. I wanted to compare that to something like what Jason Statham does comfortable and safe, but ultimately different films with the same foundation on a near annual basis. Do you have a preference? I found myself letting go of expectation and not having to think about rules in a universe and had a decent time although a familiar time with Shelter.

HELLO EVERYBODY my name is MARK....wait no it's not. I'll say probably 10+ years ago I was more familar with Markiplier's presence in pop culture, but now he's making independently funded horror films?? Came out of nowhere for me, but congrats to him and the team that made this for making over 30 million to this point in time.

I'm cooler on Iron Lung than a lot of people, but credit to where credit is due there is mad passion behind this and I respect that more than a movie being great. My thoughts and opinions in the first half before I turn over to Letterboxd user reviews to see what you all think.

Send Help is another refreshing fun film in January. I may just be on Sam Raimi's wavelength, but I had a really good time in the theater with this. Hopefully you all did as well and what would you do first on a deserted island?

Hello! Been awhile since I've done an older movie and want to make it a regular thing I'll do my best to make that happen. With the release of Return to Silent Hill I figured I'd give the first film a whirl. Don't worry about telling me not to see Return to Silent Hill because unfortunately I already have :').

As per usual my thoughts and opinions are in the first half of the show before I turn it over to the Letterboxd user review committee for further inspection. Nothing like spooky foggy vibes in the beginning of February ammirite?!
