Make Our Schools Safe was born out of the Marjorie Stoneman Douglas High School massacre on Valentine's Day of 2018. After Founder, Lori Alhadeff lost her 14 year old daughter Alyssa, she quickly realized she needed to pur hershe quineeded to focus on strengthening the weaknesses in school security.
