Meet Heather Lucas, a certified medical cannabis practitioner. Like many women in this industry, Heather is being led by a more purposeful cause. As a registered nurse practitioner, using medical cannabis to treat illnesses wasn't a new, foreign concept to Heather. However, when her mother became ill, Heather decided to take a closer look and ultimately begin a professional journey to help other families experience the relief that she and her mother discovered.

Heather talks about the Mississippi Medical Cannabis Program and what patients can expect when applying for a medical card with the state. She also gives us a unique view into the certification process at Natural Relief Medical, and the hands-on experience patients will be provided on day one.
