There is nothing new under the sun. Even AI maybe... at least in the way that anything new and wild faces us with both a golden age of opportunities and immanentizing the eschaton.

As the price rises, so does attention. Not just to Bitcoin but to bitcoiners. Both "good" and bad attention. Just a little cyclical reminder to stay humble and stay frosty. Protect yourself!

After having read Brett Hansen's book The Belief Machine, I have been contemplative lately. But instead of getting wound up with my thoughts, facing the world more cynically caffeinated, I've slowed down and let it go.

Perhaps its the changing weather here, the kids starting school, going to soccer practice & games, prepping the house for the winter, thinking of Fall things. I love this time of year. So I feel like I'm done worrying about the grind and to allow my mental judo to simply step aside, let the drama pass by, take on no entanglements, make some soup and keep stacking.

Today, Daniel and I get to have a deep-thinking chat with Brett Hansen!

Brett aka ₿cuz is a longtime friend of ours in the Bitcoin space and has proven himself to be an amazing writer covering not just Why We Bitcoin, but the deeper beliefs beneath our conclusions.

I just finished his recently released book, The Belief Machine and it is exactly the kind of thinking that I ponder all the time. This book will resonate with Bitcoiners, skeptics, and anyone interested in psychology, philosophy, identity, responsibility, and the stories that hold a life together. His work explores the ways people construct and defend their understanding of reality.

Using Bitcoin as a pressure environment, The Belief Machine examines what becomes visible when inherited assumptions begin to fail, consequences become personal, and conviction can no longer be separated from identity.

What is $MSTR and all the gears of the infinite money machine (and the future of the financial system) that Saylor has made?

My goal today is to learn things from Robin and Daniel on this, while remembering: Not Your Keys, Not Your Coin, and that The Yield On Bitcoin Is Freedom.
