À propos de ce contenu audio
This was Dr Jane Williams talking on the topic of the Trinity.
The doctrine of the Trinity, which names God as One God, who is Father, Son and Holy Spirit, is not a mathematical and philosophical puzzle but the deep heart of everything Christians understand about God. At the centre of all reality is the divine being who is loving and self-giving. Here is a relationality that rejoices in genuine distinctions, and yet is also so profoundly united that ‘One’ and ‘Three’ are not contradictory terms. If God is like this, what does that mean for us as human beings and as disciples of Christ?
