Meet Jason ThomasOwner of Thomas Homes Jason Thomas has been nurturing his sense of style and design since he was a youngster. In fact, when he was only in the fourth grade, Jason drew the blueprints for his parents’ home which landed him on the cover of the local newspaper.
Jason’s creativity was greatly influenced and inspired while studying abroad at Samford University’s Daniel House, a 5-story home just down the road from Kensington Palace in London. He spent two years visiting and studying castles and chateaus throughout Europe. That experience abroad gave him a deep appreciation for gracious living, public gardens, art history, and European architecture.
Once he graduated from Samford University, he initially thought to pursue law, but ended up traveling a different path. For starters, he founded World Class Motors, a luxury car dealership in Gardendale, AL which his family now helps him run.
Renovating homes continued to be one of his passions. So, Jason became a licensed contractor, entrepreneur, and real estate investor to create impressive, unique, and refined living spaces in the Greystone area and beyond.
His first project in Greystone had a compelling story - the original owner, Wilma Thompson, designed the magnificent home herself. This personal connection to the house's design sparked immediate inspiration. Jason’s inaugural renovation of this massive estate began with freehand home renderings. Through meticulous restoration and redesign, he transformed the property from top to bottom. This landmark project solidified Thomas Homes' reputation as the premier Luxury Homebuilder and Renovation Specialist in the area.
