I don't know about you, but for most of my life being scared was the last state of being I wanted to be. Scary stories and movies often filled my head with lots and lots of anxiety that was honestly debilitating. It wasn't until this last October I went to a real haunted house for the first time and realized that being scared isn't actually as bad as I had always remembered it being. In fact, I found it kind of fun.
