  • The Cool Down | 5 | Four Unbeaten Stories: Bulls, Jets, RFC and Ladies Volleyball
    Mar 3 2026

Episode five of The Cool Down reflects on another powerful weekend for Jersey sport, with unbeaten runs stretching across multiple teams and momentum building at exactly the right time of the season.

The Jersey Bulls continued their impressive 2026 form with another disciplined display, maintaining their unbeaten start to the calendar year and keeping the pressure firmly on the play-off places. With defensive solidity becoming the hallmark of their run-in, we analyse whether this resilience is what will ultimately define their promotion push.

The Evelyn Partners Jets also extended their unbeaten streak, producing another composed performance on the road to underline their title credentials. With rivals also in action, we assess what the result means in the context of the Premier League 3 title race and whether belief is now turning into expectation.

At CoinShares Park, Jersey RFC remain relentless. Their unbeaten league campaign rolled on once more, and while the mathematical title confirmation may still require patience, the inevitability of silverware is becoming harder to ignore.

There was also a standout weekend for Jersey’s women’s volleyball team, who returned from Hampshire unbeaten across three fixtures in a single day as they continue to set standards off-island.

As always, we round off with our Fixture Forecast review, assess who’s building the strongest late-season momentum, and ask whether this could be remembered as the weekend where unbeaten belief became something bigger.

  • The Warm Up | 5 | Friday Night Football, Sussex Showdown & Rugby Title Scenarios
    Feb 27 2026

Episode five of The Warm Up previews a huge weekend across Jersey sport, with Sports Reporters Archie Corbett and Elliot Corbel breaking down the biggest fixtures, the key storylines and the potential season-defining moments ahead.

The Jersey Bulls head to Sevenoaks Town on Friday night under the lights, unbeaten in 2026 and sitting just one point outside the play-off places. With ten games remaining, the run-in is well and truly underway. We discuss whether the Friday night factor is an advantage, if anything less than three points would feel like a missed opportunity, and why the Bulls’ defensive record could be the foundation of their promotion push.

In netball, the Evelyn Partners Jets travel to fifth-placed Sussex Thunder off the back of two big wins. With title rivals Ryland also in action, we assess whether this weekend could shape the title race.

It could also be a significant afternoon for Jersey RFC. The league leaders are 17 points clear at the top and, while unlikely, there is a mathematical path to being crowned champions this weekend. We break down the bonus point permutations ahead of a double-header at CoinShares Park, with a full day of rugby and a potential celebration on the cards.

Across local football, there is action in Premiership 1 and the Championship divisions, alongside JFA Cup ties and the Sylvia Spinola Memorial Cup in the women’s game. We also look ahead to a demanding Sunday for Jersey’s women’s volleyball side, who face three matches in Hampshire. As always, we round things off with our latest Fixture Forecast predictions.

  • The Cool Down Episode | 4 | Bulls Edge Promotion Six-Pointer, Jets Keep Title Pressure On & RFC Women Deliver Statement Shutout
    Feb 25 2026

Episode four of The Cool Down dives into a massive weekend across Jersey sport, with Sports Reporters Archie Corbett and Elliot Corbel unpacking the biggest talking points.

At Springfield, Jersey Bulls delivered a huge 1-0 win over third-placed Faversham Town to keep their play-off hopes alive. With the Bulls now level on points with Whyteleafe and Sittingbourne, albeit having played more games, the panel break down a disciplined second-half display, Rai Dos Santos’ decisive finish, and the impact of James Sunley off the bench that ultimately separated the sides. Is momentum building at exactly the right time?

Over at Oakfield, the Evelyn Partners Jets produced one of their most emphatic performances of the campaign, dismantling Leeds Athletic 76-39 to secure another crucial bonus point. With Ryland and Exeter also picking up wins, the Jets remain two points off top spot in Premier League 3, but back-to-back dominant displays suggest they are timing their run perfectly.

On the rugby pitch, Jersey RFC Women recorded a commanding 22-0 victory over Medway Women at CoinShares Park to stay firmly in the title conversation, now sitting six points off first and three off second.

    Elsewhere:

Local football across Premiership and Championship divisions, including St Paul’s six-goal Friday night performance and Sporting Accies’ first defeat of the season. A dramatic 4-4 draw in hockey’s Super League. Pisces Gym fighters Jack Cairns, Conor Martin and Felix Gouveia all claiming wins at the Sandee Fight Series in Barnsley. And finally, our full Fixture Forecast review.
