BYU beat Georgia Tech 25-21 at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, FL. They spent the week enjoying sunshine and roller coasters, then channeled their inner Cardiac Cougs to beat the Yellow Jackets. Bear Bachmeier was the MVP thanks to his 325 passing yards and grit. Evan “Shmev” Johnson had a game-sealing interception (again!) to bring home the trophy.
BYU had its first 12-win football season since 2001 after beating Georgia Tech. They did so without LJ Martin and Jack Kelly. Jay Hill, the defensive coordinator, may bolt for the Michigan job alongside Kyle Whittingham.
