Chris ands his band completely changed my life in the early 90s and set me on the path I am still walking to this day. His gift for melody, clever lyrics and hooks taught me everything I needed to know as a young songwriter in middle school - and to this day he continues to wow me with his choice of words and top line melodies. We're gonna spend this time together, chatting about their new record "Face Full of Cake" and about his approach to songwriting throughout his career. You do NOT want to miss this one!

Frankie and I crossed paths all the time in the Baltimore live music scene before he left town a few years back. He was one of the players in this city I respected most of all. Not only because he’s a great player but because he worked hard and hustled to make music his full time employer and was always in demand as a guitarist and singer too! I can’t wait to catch up and see what’s shaking in his world now!

    To say that this band is one of my favorites, would be an understatement. There are few times in one life where something can touch you so deeply that it completely hijacks you from a path you knew wasn't right for you anyway. Their music and words and soul made me re-evaluate my life as a musician. Their songs borrow deep in your existence and just make you a better human... I can't explain it... it's just a fact. Their new album "Dog Ear" is probably my favorite in their catalog thus far. I feel like they continue to grow with each release and this record is no exception. Strap in while I saddle up for some of my fanboy s#!*
