In the not too distant future, a ragtag group of movie fans awaken from a nuclear nightmare, only to discover that the world they once knew has become a barren, movie-less wasteland. Broadcasting from the last surviving video store on the planet, listen to host David Snider and his cinephile friends as they take it upon themselves to educate the inhabitants of this post-apocalyptic hellscape and bring the lost art of cinema back to the Wasteland. • Another WolfCop (2016)
    Oct 5 2026

Just when you thought it was safe to enjoy another theme month; the spooky season returns. But not just any spook-em…a randomly chosen one. Because four horror fans, and the occasional special guest, have run out of catchy wordplay…

Welcome to the Apocalypse Video Shocktober Spooktacular: Tupperware of Terror!!!

All Shocktober long, we’ll be reaching into the haunted tupperware container of Yore and selecting one randomly chosen horror film a week - films that span an entire century of horror cinema!!! I’m your creepy host, Dave, and joining me as we risk life and limb reaching into a container riddled with stains and dried macaroni are fellow horror fans Mike, Ryan, and Jackie.

So crack open a cold one, do a snort of some top grade moon rock, and prepare to hit the ice as the Canadian stereotypes are slap shot right at your face with our first selection from the dreaded Tupperware of Terror - it’s…Another Wolfcop!

Topics of discussion in this episode include a bad movie made with a pure heart; we debate whether the modern proliferation of “Meta” has ruined the idea of doing bad movies on purpose; and finally, we pitch a third WolfCop film and try our best not to shit all over director Lowell Dean’s good time.

That’ll do it for our first randomly selected piece of horror. When we return, we’ll reach into the Tupperware of Terror once again. Who knows what monstrous ghouls await us…? Until then, Slamma’ Cold Cock!

    Sep 28 2026

Hello, Wasteland - thank you for tuning into Apocalypse Video Radio, and I hope you’re all wearing your running shoes, because you’re about to join the chase as hundreds of screaming fans try to get their hands on the most famous rock band from Liverpool - The Beatles!!!

The film is…A Hard Day’s Night. And it’s Live, right now! On Apocalypse Video Radio!!!

I’m your host, Dave, and joining me as we search the city looking for a lost Ringo are fellow bandmates Mike and Ryan.

Topics of discussion in this episode include us trying our best to decipher the at times perplexing British humor of The Beatles and director Richard Lester; I go on a mini-rant against the Beatles as they absolutely refuse to do their damn jobs; and finally, Mike and Ryan help guide me through my realization that the Beatles…were kinda dorks.

  • This Is Spinal Tap (1984)
    Sep 21 2026

Hello, Wasteland - you’re tuned into Apocalypse Video Radio, and I hope you guys are ready to rock, because this week we’ve got a stone cold classic for ya; a film that reinvented comedy and set the standard for all mockumentaries to follow.

The film is…This Is Spinal Tap. And it’s Live, right now! On Apocalypse Video Radio!!!

I’m your host, Dave, and joining me as we try to find the line between clever and stupid are fellow bandmates Mike, Ryan, and Jackie.

Topics of discussion in this episode include trying desperately not to let the pod devolve into the Chris Farley Show as we break down the many, many great comedy bits from this movie; we touch on the film’s sequel and how it stacks up to the original; and finally, Ryan confirms that backstage areas are as labyrinthine as they are depicted in This Is Spinal Tap.
