Episode summary: After saving Jacob from the closet, Amber gains the advantage of being able to use one of the powers of The Oldest House: the ability to rewrite small but meaningful parts of reality. Amber chooses Jacob to be her heart for this mission. The team decides to follow The Cat through The House, and it leads them to The Museum Room. In the museum, there are exhibits from the lives of each team member. Jacob finds a note from himself, urging his future self to make a different choice on his next pass through the house. The note is attached to the business card he gave Dolores weeks ago. Aislin successfully reveals her heart to Amber, and they gain bond with each other. Jacob finds a key in the form of post-it notes covered in frenzied warnings. The Doomsday Clock moves forward again. A triangle appears in the air, and a voice announces, "The threads of time cannot take much more. We are running out of chances. Proceed." Time begins to break down around the team as they flee the room. The Cat leads the team to The Surveillance Room. On one of the monitors, the team sees another version of Amber asleep in a room in the house. Agent Betterton stumbles out of the closet and the team interrogates him. Amber finds another key in the form of a corpse wrapped in a telephone cord. Amber shares some of her power with Betterton, and Aislin uses her powers to see his most recent memories. She learns that Dolores is in the house somewhere and that Jacob attacked the team before time reset. Aislin also creates an irrevocable truth about the USB drive they found: Aislin created it to collect memories from her time in The House, and those memories cannot be altered. Amber and Jacob gain bond with each other after a heart-to-heart talk. The episode ends with Betterton panicking and throwing a chair at Jacob.
