Nicole shares the story behind Dear Heart, which began in 2013 as a simple act of obedience to help fund a friend’s mission trip. What started as a small batch of bracelets unexpectedly sold out and became the beginning of a calling God was clearly inviting her to steward. Dear Heart was not just about building a business or empire it was about starting a conversation that would lead more people to Jesus.

In this conversation, Nicole and I reflect on the ways Jesus can be misunderstood — shaped by religion, fear, culture, or even spirituality — rather than known relationally. We talk honestly about discernment, creativity, obedience, social media, and what it means to stay grounded in Christ while building something visible in the world.
