As we head into Black History Month, we're thinking about our elders. From our parents to grandparents, and the many generations of ancestors we never got to meet. We owe so much to those who came before us, especially those who fought for our rights and freedoms. But, does respecting your elders mean we have to endure the very real harm some of them have caused? This week, we're navigating how to honour the expectations of those who paved our paths, while holding space for ourselves and the agency and consideration we deserve.
