    In this episode, Mark and Dan discuss Parts 5 and 6 of the new Amazing Spider-Man and Venom event, DEATH SPIRAL, which includes Amazing Spider-Man (vol. 7) #25 and Venom #256.

    Amazing Spider-Man (vol. 7) #25, which is legacy #989, is Part 5 of Death Spiral. This issue was written by Joe Kelly. The cover features artwork by Ed McGuinness and Marte Gracia. The interiors feature pencils by Ed McGuinness, inks by Cliff Rathburn, Pere Perez as the Spider-Versity Interlude artist, colors by Marcio Menyz with Erick Arciniega, and, of course, letters by VC’s Joe Caramagna. This issue was first released on March 25th, 2026.

    Venom #256 is Part 6 of Death Spiral. This issue was written by Al Ewing. The cover features artwork by Giuseppe Camuncoli and Frank Martin. The interiors feature artwork by Carlos Gómez, colors by Frank D’Armata, and letters by VC’s Clayton Cowles. This issue was first released on April 1st, 2026.
