We must learn, that as a Christian, we are to prepare our hearts to take the yoke of the Lord. This means we are to be joined to Him, through the Holy Spirit's revelation of God's word, the Holy Bible. All who are weary and burdened, by the trials and temptations of life, are to come to Him. We find God's advice to us from Matthew chapter 11 verses 28 to 30. Forget the litany of religious practices and rituals for the Lord will refresh all who come to Him with His salvation and peace. The yoke of the flesh, the world and the devil is hard to bear. Learn about Christ's yoke and follow in His ways, for His yoke is gentleness and humility in your heart and your soul and your body. For His yoke is easy to bear and light and you will find renewal and rest in His yoke.
